Poster Presentation

In the form of a scientific poster, my group presented our findings and journey through our Dual Diagnosis Project CEL project. 

In our poster, we highlighted the goals of the project—to identify the main inadequacies in the continuum of care for Dual Diagnosis patients in the form of a literature review. We highlighted the main concerns in each sector of treatment including inpatient care, patient transition, and outpatient care. Dual Diagnosis patients do not receive optimal care at any of these stages and are passed around from sector to sector in an exasperating wave of cyclicity. We recommended ways to break this cyclical nature, and improve treatment at each stage of care. 

We hope that these recommendations will be translated well at Parkwood Institute and can be used to inform future directions of Dual Diagnosis treatment,
